As a AAFP Certified Cat Friendly Practice (CFP), we do everything we can to provide a calm environment for cats and minimize their stress. Cats often disguise their illness, so it is crucial for them to receive regular examinations, however, the stress associated with a veterinary visit is often the reason cats don’t visit their veterinarian as frequently as they should.
At Cat & Dog Hospital of Portland, we strive to create a pleasant visit for our feline patients through Fear Free techniques including pheromone infused exam rooms and a staff that is trained in feline-friendly handling and understanding your cat’s behavior.
